What I don’t understand is why sometimes people need to be so outright with it. “The Gay Pride Parade” and all that. You don’t see straight people having a parade celebrating the fact they like women. You don’t need to keep it private, as in “You think that girl’s hot?” “No, but that guy is.” That seems like it’s enough. To write everywhere you go and let it define you…being straight doesn’t define me….being gay wouldn’t define me. I’d just be myself and others would have to judge that.
